We have had a lovely fortnight here at Cortijo la Serena. You have renovated it with great style and imagination to create a wonderfully relaxing retreat set in lovely countryside.

What can we say that has not been already been said? A fantastic cortijo in a fantastic location with wonderful hosts. We came in search of a quiet "get away from it all" holiday and we had exactly that. Thank you Donald and Kathryn, we have enjoyed it. The kids enjoyed it and if Jack had his way Luna and Toby would come with us.

We have had a wonderful time here. It is our second visit and still lots to do.We particularly enjoyed the wolf park "los lobos" and had a great week-end in Seville. Thanks to Donald and Kathryn for being such kind hosts and for letting the kids wash the dogs! An experience they will not forget.

Quand jétais petit on m´a raconte qu´au Paradis on mange le riz au lait avec des cuilleres en or. Mais le VRAI paradis cést ici a "LA SERENA".La gentilesse avec laquelle vous m´avez accueilli restera pour moi un grand souvenir. Que la symphonie du silence accompagnee de la bise du vent leger a porte mon tres profond merci pour tout ce que vous m´avez donne si gentiment.

Our visit was great! Your home is charming and comfortable and though we did travel a lot we were always happy to return to such a peaceful home. The location is very convenient.Very much enjoyed the pool with its splendid views of Spain´s mountains. We will certainly recommend Cortijo la Serena to our friend and families in the States. We look forward to returning again some day - especially for that shoe shopping market trip! Thank you for a wonderful week in Spain.

Our only regret about our 2 weeks stay at Cortijo la Serena is that we did not spend more time relaxing in your absolutely gorgeous setting. We loved the comfort and charm of your restored home, your beautiful gardens and your adorable "troop "of such well behaved dogs. We are sorry to be leaving and hope someday to return. Thank you.
